PhD Position in Bioinformatics – Ultrasound Localization Microscopy in Kidney Disease
Expererienced in medical imaging analysis and keen to transfer your knowledge into meaningful clinical projects? We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate with a strong background in bioinformatics to join our interdisciplinary research team. The position is part of a funded project focused on the application of Ultrasound Localization Microscopy (ULM) in the study of kidney diseases.
Project Description
This project aims to develop novel imaging biomarkers for the diagnosis and characterization of kidney diseases through the analysis of super-resolution microvascular imaging data. The successful candidate will play a central role in the integration and analysis of ULM datasets acquired from pediatric and adult patients with kidney disease. The access to a high amount of unique clinical datasets offers a highly translational research environment.
